Arthur D’Arcy is Chief Information Officer for ICAP’s BrokerTec and Global Broking divisions. ICAP is the world largest Interdealer Broker.
Arthur was one of the original members of the BrokerTec team and worked closely with NASDAQ OMX on the definition and deployment of BrokerTec’s Global Fixed Income systems. BrokerTec today is the cornerstone of ICAP’s Electronic Fixed Income Trading business and operates NASDAQ’s Genium INET trading system for its European and US Fixed Income Products. In the U.S. Treasury Market, BrokerTec is responsible for processing the majority of US Treasury Benchmark Trading in the Inter Dealer market.
In his role as CIO of Global Broking, Arthur is responsible for the systems and infrastructure used by 2,000 brokers in ICAPs Global Broking division in 40 locations around the world.
Prior to BrokerTec and ICAP, Arthur worked at CSFB in New York and at two financial Software houses (TCAM and Logica) in London.
Arthur holds a degree in Mathematics from Cambridge University.
