Dirk Manelski

Dirk is responsible for the technology that drives JP Morgan’s Macro Trading Business which includes Rates, Foreign Exchange and Commodities. He is also responsible for technology functions across J.P. Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank including Electronic Trading, Regulatory Systems, Market Data, and the firm’s common development platform, Athena.

Previously, Dirk was Head of Trading and Risk Technology at Deutsche Bank where he was responsible for designing and delivering the platforms that powered DB’s financial markets businesses as well as running High Frequency Technology. Before joining Deutsche Bank, Manelski held positions including COO of Fixed Income Technology at Bear Stearns, Chief Architect of ICAP plc, and CEO and founder of Crosslinks Systems, a development firm specializing in building trading systems and exchanges.

Dirk has a degree in Applied Physics from Columbia University. He sits on Columbia’s Technology Mentorship Board, Columbia’s Engineering Council, and is a Non-Executive Director at OpenFin.
