Doug DeSchutter is President, U.S. Regulatory and Digital Communications and a member of Broadridge’s Executive Committee. His responsibilities include Broadridge’s proxy and prospectus services and overall digital strategy. Prior to assuming his current role in 2012, Doug was responsible for Broadridge’s Customer Communication businesses since 2009, including print/mail output, electronic communications, document management, and new account processing solutions.
Doug was the Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer for Broadridge, responsible for mergers and acquisitions and strategy, from 2007 to 2009. Prior to the spin-off, he served in various strategy and corporate development roles for Automatic Data Processing (ADP). Prior to joining ADP in 2002, he was Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at Lehman Brothers focusing on the technology sector.
Mr. DeSchutter is a founder and board member of Inlet LLC, a digital communications exchange. Doug is also a member of the Organizational Studies Leadership Committee for the University of Michigan.
Doug holds both a B.S. Engineering and B.A. Economics from The University of Michigan as well as an M.B.A. from Duke University.
Doug currently resides in Lloyd Harbor, New York with his wife Wendi and sons Ben and Tyler.
