Nic Di Iorio

Nic Di Iorio has been the Chief Technology Officer of XO Group Inc since February 2008. Before joining XO Group, he was co-Founder and CEO of City24/7 LLC from October 2006 to January 2008. Before that, he was Chief Technology Officer of the Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG), from October 2003 to June 2006. Before that, Mr. Di Iorio held the dual role of EVP, Chief Information Officer of the McCann WorldGroup (a subsidiary of IPG) and Chief Executive Officer of Marketing Communications Technologies Inc. (a subsidiary of the McCann WorldGroup), from April 1995 to September 2003. Mr. Di Iorio joined McCann-Erickson Worldwide in 1995 as SVP, Director of Information Technology. Before joining McCann, Mr. Di Iorio spent four years at Young & Rubicam as Vice President, Information technology. He also

spent ten years in Research and Development organizations at GTE (1983 – 1985) and AT&T Bell Laboratories (1985 – 1991) working on new technologies in the area of distributed systems, data networking, data security and telecommunications. While at GTE, Mr. Di Iorio was also a Lecturer at Northeastern University on computer architectures and programming.

Mr. Di Iorio received a B.S. in Computer Science from the City College of New York and earned a M.S. in Computer Science on a full-time Graduate Fellowship from the New York University Tandon School of Engineering (formerly Polytechnic Institute of New York). He has been published both in trade and academic (IEEE) publications, authored 2 international data communications standards (ISO/IEC 10030 and CCITT X.228) and Chaired a number of datacom/telecom committees (CCITT, ECMA, ISO).

Mr. Di Iorio has been serving as a Mentor to graduate students enrolled in the Executive Master of Technology Management at Columbia University since 2004. He has also been on the board of a number of privately held (i.e., ExchangeLab International, Jetaport, InnovationsMD, LLC) and publicly listed (i.e., Intelligroup Inc.) companies.
