Paul Amorello is the retired Vice President of Global IT Services and CIO at Campbell Soup Company.
Prior to this role, he was Senior Vice President of Information Technology at Pepperidge Farm, Inc., and Godiva Chocolatier, both units of the Campbell Soup Company. Amorello was responsible for all aspects of IT at both companies. After joining Pepperidge Farm as Vice President of IT in 1997, he assumed the role of Vice President of IT for Campbell Soup’s sales and marketing.
Before joining Pepperidge Farm, Amorello spent thirteen years at PepsiCo, Inc. The first five years were spent in finance and strategic business planning; the remaining time in many IT roles including leading technology planning and applications development teams.
Amorello is a member of the Fairfield/Westchester chapter of the Society for Information Management and is a 1996 graduate of the SIM Leadership Development Institute. He is also a member of the Grocery Manufacturers of America Information Systems Committee. In June 2004, he was selected by Consumer Goods Technology Magazine as one of the “25 Most Influential Consumer Goods Executives that Make a Difference.”
